I made this card for three challenges: FLLCFEB where we were to find inspiration in the colors of a peacock feather, FTTC2 - where Betty Wright is hosting the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge which is to use buttons, AND this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge!
For the color inspiration, I decided to use Taken with Teal, Kiwi Kiss and an Antique Gold. I embossed the twig image and bird from Flourishes Home Tweet Home stamp set with some antique gold embossing powder. I then colored them with some copic markers, and sponged the edge of the image panel with Taken with Teal. For my button, I found this fabulous antique gold button in with all of my sewing stuff and thought it would be perfect for not only the button challenge, but also for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge!
There are sooo many wonderful challenges out there, I wish I could do them all, but the best I can do for now is combine a few when I get a chance!
