April Our Daily Bread Desing Blog Hop!!


Hello everyone! Welcome to the April 1st Our Daily Bread designs Blog Hop! I am so excited about the wonderful sets being released today! I know you are gonna love them too! Now, onto my projects for the day! I have made this matching card and purse set! I know! How fun is that purse! I got the template from Papercrafts. Totally easy to make, and I just added the sentiment on one of the ribbon tag treo spellbinders dies, along with some sheer lined edge black and white ribbon from the really reasonable ribbon store!


For the card, I used the Poppy image from the Mother's Day set. I cut it out with the poppy die and colored it with copics. I then added some more of the wonderful SEI White Elegance DP, and the same white black sheer lined ribbon!

    Oh wow Connie! This set is so elegant and cute! I love the fun design of the purse and need to get that template! The gorgeous dp makes such an elegant statement! I just love the poppy in white! I didn't realize how many colors poppies come in until we got these sets and I googled them and wow... lots of gorgeous colors! So I really love this one! Have a great weekend!

    That gift purse is a great idea and looks so lovely with that tag set and ribbon! I am a horrible gardener so I always like flowers (I can make stamped ones look so much better than the ones in my garden) Your poppy is lovely and that DP behind it just perfect for it.

    Wow! two lovely projects today. I love the card but wondered why a carnation stamp is not the flower in the Mother set...just curious... :)
    The purse is lovely but looks very time consuming but what a great gift for 'Mom' who deserves more of our time.

    You used such gorgeous papers and that ribbon looks spectacular. The poppy cut with the die seems to have tremendous detail to it. The verse is so wonderful. The purse is the perfect addition to complete a Mother's Day gift. An exquiste looking set!

    The purse is adorable. I can see putting some Hershey's Kisses in it! My Mom LOVES Hershey's Kisses. I take a 3 lb. bag whenever I go visit at her nursing home. I'm the Chocolate Fairy there.
    Apparently they don't get served anything chocolate there!
