Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! Today, I decided to do a springy card since spring is in full spring here...we have been in the 80s for the last week or so and it has been soooo lovely!!
For the sketch I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge (MTSC68). I thought this sketch would be perfect to show off the acrylic distress technique featured on SCS last week. That is exactly what I did for the base panel with the divine swirls cuttlebug folder, white acrylic paint and tea die distress ink all on a piece of baja breeze card stock.
The butterfly is from the Multi Step Butterfly set, and was stamped with the following: Step 1 - Soft Sky, Step 2 - Baja Breeze and Step 3 - Chocolate chip. The sentiment is from the Ready 4 Any holiday set.
To finish off the card, I added some large light blue half pearls from Zva Creative, and some chocolate brown ribbon tied in a double loop bow.
Please head on over to see what the other crew members have created for you!!
Also, don't forget you can get a 10% discount by clicking on this link/code CONNIE10KSS which will again, take you directly to the store! Then once you are ready to check out, don't forget to add the code CONNIE10KSS! :)
