Fall Leaves

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!! I have a quick post for you today! I made this card with four challenges in mind. This week's Curtin Call color challenge, the sketch is from this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch, this week's Stamping Sisters in Christ - to have nature on your card, and this week's Our Daily Bread Designs Spotlight Challenge - to use leaves on your creation!

For my card, that background was stamped with the newly released Wood Background and then sponged with a bit of Cajun craze ink. The leaves are from the Rand's Song set. They were stamped cut out and then sponged with Cajun Craze and More mustard inks. I then cut out the circle on the front of the card, which is framed with a lacey circle nestabilties, and the sentiment was stamped on the inside of the card. To finish off the card, I added some olive ribbon and two olive crystal brads!

Thanks so much for visiting today! Have a great weekend!

Today is the owner of Our Daily Bread Designs' birthday! Happy Birthday Kelley!! Today some of the design team members have decided to celebrate by creating a card for Kelley with some of her earlier sets!! The set I chose to use is the Flourished Christian Symbols set.

KSCC29 - Happy Halloween!!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! It is the first Monday of the month, which means it is time for another Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge!! This month's hostess is the always amazing Maki!! She is challenging us to create a Halloween card or project!! I decided to create a card! Additionally, I created this card with a few other challenges in mind. This week's Basic Grey Challenge - to use Sparkle, and the sketch is from Friday's Sketchers #122, and this week's Shabby Tea Room Challenge!

I started by stamping the moon from the Multi Step Owl and Autumn Moon set...the moon was stamped with Step 3: Going Grey Stamped off, Step 2: Basic Grey Stamped off, Step 1 Versamark covered with clear EP and heat embossed. However, before I stamped the versamark, I stamped the witch image in Basic Black from the Friends of the Moon set.

The image was cut out with my Creative Memories Circle cutter, and then layered on a beaded circle nestabilities. The image panel was then layered over two Labels Three nestabilities which were dry embossed with the divine swirls cuttlebug folder. The DP is from Basic Grey's Eerie package. To finish off the card, I added some glitter covered black brads, stickles on the beaded circle nestie, some double stitched black ribbon, and the sentiment which is from the Ready 4 Any Holiday set.

Please head on over to see what my fellow crew members have created today!
