Weave in Faith!

Hello! It is sneak peek time for Our Daily Bread Designs and you are gonna just love this months release...especially if you like to sew!! Here I have used one of the new tag sets called Pincushion Tag Set, and added a sentiment from the new Wave in Faith sentiment set.

With the sewing theme...what better ribbon to use then seam biding! Really Reasonable Ribbon has some AMAZING seam biding in their store...all sorts of colors in such great quality! Here I have used the Log Brown Seam Binding. Along with the seam biding, I have added a pearl stick pin. I then added a few buttons in the corner to finish off the sewing theme!

The sketch is from this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I used the tag die from Our Daily Bread Designs to cut out the image. The DP in the background is from Bo Bunny!

Little Toes!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday! I was in need of a baby card this week, and what better set to reach for then the Multi Step Baby set from Kitchen Sink!!

Here I have stamped the shoes as follows: Step 1: Certainly Celery stamped off, Step 2 Certainly Celery. Step 3: Mellow moss, and Step 4: Going Grey. The DP is from basic grey, pearls from Zva Creative, and the ribbon is from Really Resonable Ribbon Store!

Not Forgetten!

Hello! I have a quick card for you today! I just LOVE this wonderful new set from Our Daily Bread Designs called Not Forgotten!

Here I have stamped the image along with the Old Flag background stamp on some very vanilla paper and colored portion of it with copic markers. This wonderful sketch is from this week's Card Positioning Systems (CPS). I decided to tear the edges of the background flag, and distress the edges of the image to give it all a worn look. I then added the sentiment, which was stamped on some vellum and simply placed over the image. Finally, I added a bit of Flag Twill ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.

Zinnia!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! I am having so much for with the newly released sets from Kitchen Sink Stamps! This week I am using the Multi Step Zinnia set and the Seed Packet set.

I stamped the flowers as follows: Step 1: So Saffron, Step 2: Daffadil Delight, Step 3: Pumpkin Pie, Step 4: Tangerine Tango. The leaves were stamped with Old Olive and Kiwi Kiss.

To embellish the card, I added some hand dyed silk ribbon from the really reasonable ribbon store. I then added the banner and side border images from the Seed Packet set. The green base is also dry embossed with a cuttlebug folder. I also used this week's Fiday Sketch Cart Challenge #28 from the Kitchen Sink Stamp forum.

Elegant Hydrangeas

Hello! I just LOVE how all white cards are so every elegant looking! What could make it even more elegant then ruffled white satin ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store!!

The Hydrangea image is from Our Daily Bread Designs. I layered it on a lacey circle and lacey square nestabilities. I then embossed the base with an embossing folder. To finish off the card, I added some half backed gems and a crystal bauble from Tim Holtz wrapped around the stain ruffled bow tied with a bow easy!

Hello! I have a quick card for you today! I made is for this week's Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge - Cool it! Hmmm well, I may have stretched it a bit, but I am sure flowers really like it when the get a drink of water from a watering can! And since I live in the hot dry desert, I know they really love it here! LOL!!

I used some more wonderful ribbons from this month's ribbon club assortment from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store. The oranges are just so fun and summery! I layered the Checkered Satin Torrid Orange ribbon with some Orange Gingham ribbon. I also layered the ribbons while I tied the bow with a bow easy!

This wonderful watering can image is from the Happy Birthday set from Our Daily Bread Designs. The sentiment is from the newly released Large Scrapbook words (as you can see...not limited to scrap booking!) :)

To finish off the card I added some flower brads from Stampin' Up, along with some half backed gems from Zva Creative.

Kitchen Sink July Reslease!!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! I am so excited to say that there is a release TODAY!! What fun these new sets are too! You can see all the new sets over in the Kitchen Sink Store, but at the moment I have used three of them on my card today! Here I have used the Multi Step Basket set, the Multi Step Lettuce set and the Multi step Tomato set!

I first stamped the tomato as follows: Step 4: Riding Hood red, Step 3: Real Red, Step 2: Rose Red and Step 1: Regal Rose. It then masked the tomato and stamped the basket with Step 3: Soft Suede, and steps 2 & 1 with crumb cake. Finally I masked the basket off and stamped the lettuce with Step 4: Garden Green, Step 3: Mellow Moss, and Steps 1 & 2 with Certainly Celery! I then sponged the
background a bit with some baja breeze and crumb cake.

The sketch I used is from this week's Friday Sketch Carte Challenge over on the Kitchen Sink Stamp forum. The DP is from Basic grey, and a finished off the card with some satin edged organza ribbon from the really reasonable ribbon store!

Ribbon Necklace!

Hello! I am so excited to share my project with you today! I was at a popular accessories store a couple of months ago, where I saw a necklace made out of ribbon, and I thought...I could do that! So here is what I came up with!

I started with three strands of the pink organza ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store. I added the broach on all three piece of ribbon. I then put different beads, a black bead, a larger pink bead and an iridescent teardrop bead each to one of the three ribbons about an 1 1/2" apart. Once I added all the beads, I then loosely braided the ribbon strands together, and capped off the ends with special ribbon clasps!

This was my first time making a necklace with ribbon, and did not think to take pictures of it as I was going along. If you would like, next time I will try to put together a little tutorial for you all!

Happy 4th!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday, and HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!! :)

So since it is the 4th and all, I knew I just had to make a card to celebrate it right! Here I have used this week's Friday Sketch Carte Challenge from over on the Kitchen Sink Stamp forum!


I used the 1/2 pint alphabet sets stamped in regal rose, real red, bashful blue and night of navy. I then layered the sentiment on a beaded circle nestabilities. To embellish the card a bit I added three stripes of flag twill ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store, embossed the base with the stars embossing folder, and added a red, white and blue half backed gem!

Now, onto my card for the day! I am so in love with this Not Forgotten set and matching Old Flag background image! Here I have stamped the image and background flag on very vanilla card stock with memento black ink. I then colored the flag with copics, crumpled up the images and rubbed old paper distress ink directly over the wrinkles to give it that aged look!

To finish off the card, I added some star brads from Stampin' Up, and some Sheer iridescent red/blue organza ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store!
