Tree Ornament!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday! For my project today, I have used the multi step Pine Tree Set. I stamped the Trees as follows: Step 1: River Rock, Step 2: Old Olive, Step 3: Always Artichoke; Step 4: Early Espresso. I then cut it out with a spellbinders 2011 Heirloom ornament die.

To create the ornament, I used the Heirloom Ornament die. I cut three pieces of DP with the same sized die. I then scored the ornament down the center and glued the three pieces together with a bit of twine in the middle. To finish off the ornament I added some wooden beads on the bottom!

ODBD November Blog Hop!!

Now onto my project for today! Here I have used the new Ornaments 2 set. This image just screams to be heat embossed, so that is exactly what I did! I embossed it with silver embossing powder on marina mist paper six times. I then cut each image out with the matching spellbinders 2011 Heirloom Ornaments dies. Once they were all cut out, I folded each image in half, and then adhered each image to each other to create the 3D ornament.

To finish off the ornament I added some wonderful silver ribbon from the really reasonable ribbon store, some crystal beads, and the sentiment!

Heirloom Ornament!

Welcome to the December Our Daily Bread designs Release Blog Hop! Now on to my project! Oh my goodness!! I am just sooo in love with this WONDERFUL Ornaments set that fits PERFECTLY into the Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornament nestablities!! Here I have created an ornament. I stamped the image. colored and sponged it three times. I cut them out with the nestie, and then scored the center of each. I then adhered the three ornament together to create at 3-D ornament!

To help embellish the ornament, I used some Red Jute string, White Satin Ribbon and Red Glitz Ribbon on all from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store. I then topped the jute off on the bottom with some pearls and crystal beads! Speaking of the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store, I have created this ornament for this week's Challenge over the the RRR Blog. To create a 3-D winter themed project!

Our Daily Bread November Release BLOG HOP!!!!

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs November Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Grace's Blog, you are in the right place! If you happened on my blog but did not start at the ODBD Blog, you really should go there and start from there, so you can collect all the secret words words hidden along the hop! For my card for today, I have used the newly released Blessed Christmas Set! Such a beautiful poinsettia, and LOVE the flourished vine and leaves!! I decided to create an elegant all white holiday card. I used the paper tole technique with the poinsettia by heat embossed the flower four times, cut the different layers and then popped them up with dimensionals!

I ran the base panel through my cuttlebug, and cut the image panel out with the label 5 Nestabilities. I then added some shimmer by spraying all the layers on the card with some glacier glimmer mist. I then added some mini pearls in the center of my poinsettia and two mini pearl flourishes all from Zva Creative...LOVE these pearls!!! I finished off then finished off the card with some white satin ribbon.

I also decided to create an ornament today. This ornament actually matches a card that I made earlier this week, which can be seen here. To create the background, I took a piece of double sided SEI Peppermint Bark DP cut 10 - 5 1/2" by 3/4" strips of paper. I then stacked them up, and punched a hole on either end of the stack, and attached a brad. Next, I separated the pieces of paper to create the half circle background.

For the center of my ornament, I colored the poinsettia image with copics and added some glitter to the center with some scattered straw distress stickles. I then layered the image on a spellbinders small kaleidescope pendent and medium poinsettia shapability. To finish off the ornament I dangled some silver cord off the bottom of the ornament and added a 3D scalloped ball and some pearl and crystal beads.
