Garden Picket Fence

Hello! I made this card for a number of challenges...you can see the list below, but it was first and foremost made for this week's SNTODBD20 - to use embossing powder!! I decided to use the newly released Missing You set from Our Daily Bread Designs. I colored the image with copics and then did the faux cracked glass technique with ultra thick embossing powder. The background was created with the Wood background stamp, also from Our Daily Bread Designs.

To finish off the card, I added some ruffled brown ribbon layered with some crochet ribbon from May Arts, and antique button from Tim Holtz, and some flourished pearls from Zva Creative, which were colored brown with a copic marker!

Peace on the Inside

I have made this card for many challenges, but first and foremost, I made it for this week's SNTODBD19 - to make a movable card! I decided to do a swing or flip flop card. So fun!! The color combo is from this week's Curtain Call - Kraft, Sahara Sand, Black Red, Vanilla, and Soft Suede. The sketch is from this week's I heart to stamp sketch for you to try! Additionally, this card meets this week's Stamping Sisters in Christ 57 - to make a Peace themed card. Finally, I added some bling for this week's Crazy for Challenges 56.

On to my card details. The front image is from the Flourished Christan Symbols set and the sentiment on the inside is from the Peace set both from Our Daily Bread Designs. The DP is from Basic Grey. To finish off the card, I added some sand colored ribbon tied in a multi loop bow with the bow easy, and some deep red crystal gems.

Head on over to my fellow DT members blogs for more inspiration!!

50th Wedding Anniversery!

Hi there! I was in need of a 50th Wedding Anniversary card for Parents of some good friends of mine...so out came all my gold trimmings!! I made this card with a few challenges in mind. First for SNTODBD18 - to use ribbon and lace, ODBDSLC29 - Sparkle, and the sketch is from Mojo Monday #156.

The background was created with the Brocade Background image from Our Daily Bread Designs stamped with Gold Encore Ink. The sediment was also stamped with Gold Encore ink. I then sprayed all of the layers with iridescent gold glimmer mist to add an all around sparkle. The border punch is the eyelet border punch from SU! The sheer gold ribbon is from May Arts, the pearl flourish and the mini flowers are from Zva Creative.

Wanna see some more inspiration? Head on over to my fellow ODBD DT members to see what they have come up with for the SNTODBD18 challenge!

SNTODBD17 - Emboss Resist!!

It is time for Stamping In Time on Assignment Challenge(SNTODBD17)! The assignment is to use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps. The challenge this time is a technique. We are challenging you to the Emboss Resist Technique! You can use any of the ODBD images for your technique or you can come up with creative ways to incorporate ODBD frames, sentiments, and scriptures into the technique design. We would love to see what you create using ODBD images!

For my card, I have used the three of the new sets released from ODBD just yesterday! The sentiment is from the set Peace, which is surrounded by the Brocade Borders. I then created the background with the Brocade Background set by using the Emboss resist Technique with clear embossing powder, and Baja Breeze ink sponged over it.

The sketch for this card is from Sketch Saturday ..love this sketch! to finish off the card, I layered some satin brown ribbon and dyed seam binding, and added three little roses from Zva Creative.

For some more inspiration, you can check out some of my fellow DT members blogs!

Thanks so much for visiting today! Have a great day!!
