Candy Corn Pumpkin Halloween Favors!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday, and HAPPY Halloween!!! This weekend my kids decided that they wanted to make Halloween favors for their classmates, so I came up with this super simple project! They can't wait to pass them out today!

I stamped the toppers with the Multi Step Pumpkin set. I used the following inks: Step 1: Daffodil Delight, Step2: Apricot Appeal, Step 3: Pumpkin Pie, Step 4: Tangerine Tango, and Step 5: Dusty Durango. My daughter then stamped the face on with some basic black ink and then stems with some creamy caramel ink. We then punched the pumpkin out with an oval punch and layered it on a beaded oval nestablilities.

The kids had a blast filling the fun long bags I got from Stampin' Up with candy corn. Finally we added the topper to the bag with a couple dimensionals! See super simple, but also super cute!

Tent Card!

Hope You Can Cling To!!

Our Daily Bread Designs is one of many sponsors for the Splitcoaststampers second annual Hope You Can Cling To card drive to benefit those affected by breast cancer. Here is my card using this AMAZING new set! I stamped the ribbon image on some Prima DP, and cut it out with a circle cutter. I then layered it on some yummy Chocolate Rose Silk ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store. I created the flower with a Blossoms Nestabilities Dies. To finish off the card, I added some gem flourishes from Zva Creative.

Blessings on Christmas!

It is Our Daily Bread Designs Sneak Peek time again! I am using one of two new sets that have wonderful sentiments and pine cone images! I colored portions of the image with always artichoke and chocolate chip ink markers. I then accented the "snow" portion of the image with some crystal stickles.

Both the image and the sentiment were cut out with a labels 4 nestabities. The wonderful DP is from SEI Silver Valley package, the gems are from Zva Creative, and the amazing silver shimmer satin metallic ribbon is from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store!

Seasons Greetings!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday! I am well on my way in creating all of my Christmas cards, and here is another one for you! I have used the Mulit Step Holly and Mistletoe.

The image is stamped as follows: Step 1: Mellow Moss, Step 2: Old Olive, Step 3: Always Artichoke. The berries were stamped with Regal Rose, Rose Red, and Real Red. The image was then distressed with some old paper distress ink, cut out with a circle cutter and layered on a lacy circle nestabilities.

Vintage Christmas Tree Collage

Hello! I am so in love with this amazing Christmas Tree Collage image from Our Daily Bread Designs!

I stamped the image with always artichoke ink. I then colored the ornaments with copics and covered them with some Glassy Glaze from Tim Holtz. The DP is from My Minds Eye Lost and Found Christmas. To finish off the card, I added some black diamond satin ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store, and some black gems from Zva Creative.

Chrstmas Rose

Hello! I have another Christmas card for you today. I was going for an elegant card, and what better to use then organza ribbon! Here I have used some wonderful rust organza ribbon tied in a triple bow with a bow easy.

This Christmas rose image is from Our Daily Bread Designs. I colored the image with copics, and cut it out with the elegant ovals dies also from Our Daily Bread Designs. I finished off the card with some DP from My Minds Eye - Lost and Found Christmas.

Swimming for Katie blog hop and fundraiser!

From October 10-12 some of the best stampers are joining together to support and encourage our friend and fellow stamper, Katie Renz, who is currently battling inoperable gastric cancer. If you're not familiar with her, Katie’s cancer story started just before Christmas last year. This young, beautiful, healthy, vibrant mother of 3 with her infectious smile was suddenly diagnosed with an inoperable cancer, virtually overnight. A few tummy aches and then stage 4 gastric cancer. Her first post about it is here. The idea of “Swimming for Katie” came from her recent post here.

Christmas Door

Hello! I have been in full swing making Christmas cards, and let me tell you, the Really Reasonable Ribbon store has so many wonderful ribbons for ANY Christmas card! Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! I have a pretty special card today! There is a little girl from my daughter's school named Addie. She has been quite sick for the last four months. She went into the hospital in the middle of May and she is still there. Basically, she started with an infection, that spread to her lungs. She needed a double lung transplant, which she received about three weeks ago! She is healing nicely, and the are talking about how she may get to go home very soon. If you are on facebook and would like to find out more information about this amazing little girl, you can visit the event her mother, Tonya, set up here.

Well, last Saturday was Addie's birthday, and I decided to make her a card using the Multi Step Ribbon for a Cause set. The green ribbon represents organ donation, and I know that many people realized just how important organ donation is after hearing Addie's story.

On to the card deets. I stamped the ribbon with Step 1: Certainly Celery, Step 2: Garden Green, and Step 3: Handsome Hunter. The background was also created using the tiny ribbon image from the same set. To finish off the card, I added a gem flourish from Zva Creative, and some shimmery green ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.
