However, as a reader of my blog, you can get them TODAY...and not only that...you can get 20% off of your entire purchase TODAY ONLY by using the following code: CONNIE20KSS when checking out!! How cool is that!!

Okay, on to the details of the new release! As I said there are two great new sets being released, and both are perfect for those Wedding cards you need to make!!

For my card today, I have used both sets! The Wedding Couple was stamped with the following colors in the following order: Step 5: Brushed Corduroy, Step 4: Walnut Stain Stamped Off, Step 3: Brushed Corduroy Stamped Off, Step 2: Tea Die, Step 1: Tea Die Stamped Off, and Step 6: Walnut Stain. The image was then cut out using the Labels 10 Nestabilities, and the edges distressed with Tea Die distress ink.

The background paper was created using the smaller of the wedding ring images from the new Wedding Rings set. They were stamped with the following: Step 1: Tea Die Stamped Off, Step 2: Tea Die, Step 3: Brushed Corduroy, Step 4: Walnut Stain. Once the rings were stamped, I distressed the edge of the paper with tea die distress ink, and then ran it through the damask cuttlebug folder. The base of the card was cut out using the same Labels 10 Nestabilties.

Please head on over to see what the other crew members have created for you!!

SNTODBD10 - Praying for You.

It is time for another Stamping in Time with Bettie Wright with Our Daily Bread Designs! This week's challenge host is Silke, and she has challenged us to a wonderful sketch!

For my card, I used the For the Graduate set, and the sentiment is from the Praying for You set. The image was stamped with Walnut Stain Distress ink on Very Vanilla card stock, and then distressed with Tea Die and Walnut Stain Distress inks. I then covered the image with some velum and stamped the sentiment over that.

The base layer is also distressed with Tea Die and Walnut Stain Distress inks, and cuttlebugged. For the base three panels, I layered two ribbons a faux suede ruffled ribbon from May Arts, and some cream satin ribbon. Finally, I added some brown pearls from Zva Creative.

Kitchen Sink Monday - Sunflower Hugs!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

For today's Kitchen Sink card, I used the multi step Sunflower image. Love this large sunflower. I stamped it with the following colors: Step 1 Barely Banana, Step 2 So Saffron, Step 3 - More Mustard, Step 4 - Close to cocoa, Step 5 - Chocolate Chip. The stem/leaves were stamped with Step 1 - Old Olive stamped off, Step 2 - Old Olive and Step 3 - Always Artichoke.

The image was then cut out and popped up on the base of more mustart cuttlebugged with the floral screen embossing folder, and some Basic Grey Indian Summer DP. MMSC53 - Congratulations!!

I made this quick card which is loosely based on this week's Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #53!

Like I said this was a quick card so it is pretty self explanatory. The image is called As you Graduate from Our Daily Bread Designs. The flourishes along the side and bottom are from Zva Creative, and to accent them I added some small white ribbon roses. The punch along the right side is from Martha Stewart, and the base was cuttle bugged with the swiss dots embossing folder.

Thanks so much for visiting! Have a wonderful day!

KSS - Teacher Appreciation...a little late! :)

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! Okay, so it was technically Teacher Appreciation week last week, but I have not had a chance to post these until now! :) I made each of these for my DD and DS's teachers and teacher's aids!

It is really just a simple flip open gift card holder with a pouch on the inside made out of a 3 3/4" x 6 1/2" piece of designer paper, scored on the long side at 2 1/2" and 5". I then decorated the top with the 3 step School Days KSS stamp set! The books were stamped with Tea Die, Brushed Corduroy and Walnut stain DP, and then cut out. To finish off the gift card, I just added the sentiment across the top and some riding hood red tafita ribbon behind the books tied in a knot!

Even though Teacher Appreciation week is already over, these would also make a great end of year gift too! As you can see here, I added a $5.00 Starbucks gift card to each of the holders...just a little gesture to say how much I appreciate all that they do!!

Please head on over to see what the other crew members have created for you!!

SNTODBD9 - A Little Something, Something!

It is time for ODBD Stamping In Assignment Challenge SNTODBD9! The Assignment is any ODBD stamps! The Challenge is “A Little Something Something!” Make a card or project using something “old” something “new,” and something “received!” Other stuff can be used, of course, but tell us about these three!

For my card, the "old" is the olive ribbon, the "new" is this wonderful new stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs called For the Graduate, and the "received" are these wonderful half pearls that I got from a swap/exchange!

The sketch I used for this card was last week's CPS sketch. The image was heat embossed with black craft and clear EP, and then colored with copics. The grey based layer was dry embossed with the floral screen cuttlebug folder, and the DP is from Basic Grey's Wisteria package. To finish off the card, I added some Satin ribbon tied in a bow with the bow easy, the three half backed pearls, and the sentiment punched out with the wide oval punch and the scalloped circle punch from SU!

What to see some other wonderful samples of this great challenge? Then head on over to these fabulous ladies blog's!!

KSCC25 - Welcome Little One!!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! It is the first Monday of the month! So that can only mean...another Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge! This month's challenge is hosted by our very talented Julie! She has challenged us to a sketch challenge. To see an actual picture of the sketch, you can head over to the Kitchen Sink Blog.

For my card, I decided to use the Multi Step Baby set. I just love this little cup and spoon image! So very fun! For the cup, I used the following colors: Step 1 - Going Grey stamped off, Step 2 - Basic Grey stamped off, Step 3 Basic black stamped off, Step 4 - Going Grey. For the spoon, I stamped the following: Step 1 Going Grey Stamped off, Step 2 - Basic Grey Stamped off, Step 3 Going Grey.

For the circles on the side of my sketch, I used some clear buttons. To make them appear grey I punched a circle the same size out of some going grey card stock and layered it behind the button. I then added the tiny pink bows on each button. To finish off the card, I added two strips of white satin ribbon and the sentiment stamped in Basic Grey

Please head on over to see what the other crew members have created for you!!
